What fun! Did you find all of these using the books themselves or using google? I’ve never noticed the HP one. So clever!! To be honest, I only learned recently that Stephen King intentionally overlaps all his books. For a long time I just thought he was really bad at thinking up character names. πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ

Thanks Maraia! A mixture! I spotted the Series of Unfortunate Events ones as I’m watching the series at the mo so I was looking at the artwork in the books, and the HP one I realised a while back, but I have no idea about Stephen King other than that he does leave Easter eggs, so I had to google It Easter eggs so I didn’t get spoilers πŸ˜‚ Haha! Maybe he is, and that’s why he just reuses the characters πŸ˜‚

Do you read William Gibson? Virtual Light is my one of my favorites. Check out the nod to Eric Arthur Blair in the opening and ask yourself what year you are in while cracking the Comeback salmon and partaking in the interactive media of the day. Watcher and watched. I love the character names too . Winston Smith meets Chevette Washington. But don’t take my word for it. I am just a messenger and my Pattern Recognition is more Apophenia than Steganography. Cryptic?
